Quality Engineer

Role Summary: -

This is a full time, permanent, salaried position.

The Quality Engineer is the first point of contact for customer quality issues. They are responsible for evaluating manufacturing processes in order to determine root cause and effect of non-conformities, improve processes to ensure quality of products. A pivotal part of the role is direct liaison with suppliers to address quality issues.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a quality management system
  • Maintain all quality documentation within the quality system, including the creation of user manuals, work instructions, procedures and other documentation
  • Take lead on corrective actions, non-conformance and engineering change request process
  • Implement a Quality Auditing System and perform internal audits
  • Maintain process for new product development and introduction
  • Determine and maintain Approved Quality Levels (AQL) for products
  • Liaise with external test houses and certification companies
  • Maintain the approvals database

 

Salary would be negotiable dependant on qualifications and experience.

Internal Sales Engineer

Role Summary: -

This is a full time, permanent, salaried position.

Responsible for technical sales from enquiry through to quote and subsequent order. The job role is to understand the customer needs /  requirements offer appropriate products and deliver exceptional customer service.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Answering inbound sales queries (by phone end email) and dealing with day to day sales activities
  • Providing technical sales advice to customers over the phone and in person
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with customers
  • Providing customers with quotations and securing orders.

 

Salary would be negotiable dependant on qualifications and experience.
