Haztec is certified to the international Quality Management System standard BS EN ISO 9001:2015.
Holders of the certification are able to demonstrate that they can consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements.
To ensure our products meet the rigorous requirements of Conformity of Production (CoP) standards, we carry out regular internal auditing of our manufacturing processes.
The procedures employed verify that every product we manufacture corresponds to its specific type approval.
Haztec vehicle warning systems are designed to withstand the rigours of continued use in a wide range of environmental conditions. Using our purpose-designed, in-house facilities we conduct corrosion and ingress protection testing for up to 1,000 hours in our salt fog chamber, ensuring products are fit-for-purpose in typically arduous environments, in addition to temperature and humidity testing. With our IPX5/IPX6 test chamber, we are also equipped to replicate the water ingress protection requirements of UNECE R65, and our vibration test bed allows us to simulate the long-term effects of vehicle mounted vibration on products.
UKCA/CE marking
The CE Mark, and replacement UKCA mark, demonstrate that products meet all necessary European Union safety, health and environmental requirements.
UNECE R65 certification
The majority of Haztec lightbars, warning lights and beacons are independently certified to the United Nations regulation ECE R65 (also known as EC65 or UN65).
UNECE R10 certification
Haztec products are submitted for independent testing to UNECE Regulation 10 for electromagnetic compatibility, in addition to many other relevant regulations.
National certification
In addition to our various pan European certifications, many products hold certain country-specific certifications including, for example, national siren tones.
